There’s never been a better time to visit Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, with new attractions and exhibits to enthral guests, including a new Fraggle Rock show ready for lift off, and NASA preparing to launch the Artemis II mission, sending four astronauts around the Moon and back.
Dance Your Cares Away…..Down in Fraggle Rock
The latest addition to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex experience is a new, original live show that brings Jim Henson’s Emmy® Award-winning Fraggles face-to-face with NASA’s real-life space explorers. Fraggle Rock™: A Space-y Adventure, which debuted on 22 December 2025 is a first-of-its-kind collaboration with The Jim Henson Company that sees the beloved Fraggles venture from their magical underground caves on a journey to discover the wonders of today’s NASA.

Following a mysterious postcard all the way to Florida’s Space Coast, Gobo, Red, and making his live stage debut, Uncle Travelling Matt, arrive at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and meet a member of the Exploration Ground Systems crew, who is essential to every NASA mission. Together, they embark on a musical, comedic quest to learn about NASA’s Artemis missions and humanity’s next giant leap to the Moon, even talking with a real astronaut from the International Space Station.
The production features full-body costumed “walkaround” versions of the Fraggles and puppet versions of the Doozers all crafted by the award-winning Jim Henson’s Creature Shop™. Through laughter, music, and physical comedy, the new production blends Henson’s timeless storytelling and artistry with the awe-inspiring science of space exploration. Audiences will learn that everyone, no matter how big or small, can make a difference in the universe.
Included with admission, Fraggle Rock™: A Space-y Adventure will be performed twice daily at 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. in Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex’s Universe Theatre.
The Gantry at LC-3
Opened in July 2025, The Gantry at LC-39 offers 360-degree panoramic views of active launch pads and the surrounding wildlife refuge, a full-scale rocket engine that comes to life during a simulated static-fire test – complete with thunderous sound, dazzling lights, and mist – hands-on exhibits including a Rocket Build Interactive for designing and virtually launching rockets, and a cutting-edge Earth Information Center showcasing NASA’s planet-monitoring efforts through immersive visuals and interactive media.

Apollo 12 OMEGA Watch Now on Display
The OMEGA Speedmaster has been the watch of choice for astronauts and space agencies for over half a century. Now, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has added the Apollo 12 chronograph to the Apollo Treasures Gallery Presented by OMEGA at the Apollo/Saturn V Center. The watch, which is on display in the Apollo Treasures Gallery, was worn by mission commander “Charles” Pete Conrad, Jr. A video, featuring James Ragan, the NASA procurement officer who oversaw the certification of the NASA spaceflight watch for Apollo astronauts, tells the tale of why astronauts needed to have a watch they could use on the surface of the moon.

With so much new taking place at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, there has never been a better time to plan a visit.
